Active Litigation
PCM work closely with Gladstones Solicitors to recover unpaid debt through the legal framework.
A high percentage of tickets that remain unsettled are routinely referred to Gladstones to instigate the County Court process. PCM have successfully obtained thousands of County Court Judgments (CCJs) and work with high court enforcement agencies to ensure we provide an end to end solution. Currently, PCM engage the services of Empira.
Why the focus?
Considering the process of taking an individual to court is effectively cost-neutral, there may seem like little point in bothering with the lengthy and admin-heavy procedure. Extensive court action is not necessarily about recovering money for a specific ticket, it’s about the wider impact.
Engaging with the legal processes on such a high amount of cases encourages motorists to settle their charge at an earlier stage, challenges the myths around the industry, prevents re-offending and deters motorists from abusing private land.
