Appeals
Unfortunately, the myth that parking charges are “unenforceable” and do not need to be paid is both pervasive and problematic especially on residential parking areas.
Parking Control Management (UK) Ltd have spent years developing our appeals system.
If you believe a resident has received an unfair or unlawful Parking Charge Notice (PCN), everyone has the right to make representation against it. Our internal appeals department carefully review cases individually and consider all information/evidence available to them.
This includes all submissions.
As a member of an Accredited Trade Association The International Parking Community (IPC), the approved ADR service recipients have the right to engage with the Independent Appeals Service (IAS) should the appeal be rejected by our internal team.
The IAS consists of an independent panel of trained solicitors and barristers who review the legalities of the charge. A decision made on a Standard Appeal is binding on the operator.

Appeal a PCN
Internal procedures
If you believe you have received an unfair or unlawful Parking Charge Notice (PCN), you have the right to make representation against it. Our internal appeals department carefully review cases individually and consider all information/evidence available to them. This includes your submissions.
You should receive a response within 14 days. Should you not receive a response within this timeframe, please contact Head Office on 01753 512 603 to ascertain appeal status.
Do not assume your appeal is successful if no response is received.
Please note, we are only able to process appeals within 28 days of the issue of the charge and they must come from the driver or the keeper of the vehicle.
Upon receipt of your appeal, your charge will be put ‘on hold’ and if the representation is declined, you will be offered a further 14 days to pay the reduced rate.

I know it’s no fun to receive a ticket, but speaking from the other side of the fence, as it were, I couldn’t be happier with PCM UK.
We have a car park at our block of flats which was being used by non-residents for all kinds of shadiness – It was exhausting.
PCM came in, painted bays, erected signage, and provided permits for all residents for free. They then ticketed the heck out of anyone who didn’t have a permit, and two or three months later we have no such problems.
They’ve never ticketed anyone with a permit, and they’ve never ticketed anyone erroneously. We couldn’t be happier.
